Energy Assessments
These have now been in force since 2007 and are becoming familiar in the sales and lettings markets for which they are mandatory for commercial and residential properties that are either for sale or to let.
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) measure:
- the energy efficiency of a building, including its thermal qualities, energy consuming appliances and insulation.
- the CO2 emissions of a building.
